Old MacDonald's Farm Themed Birthday | Pittsburgh, PA

Last month, we got to hang out with a handsome 2-year-old boy named Niam! The moment we met him, we saw a joyful boy with a friendly heart and so much curiosity. Niam was running around his grandparent's yard, dancing and singing on the stage, and wishing everybody at his party a happy birthday.

After a year-long wait to celebrate his first birthday, Niam's parent's did a beautiful job celebrating their boy for his, now second, birthday! Niam's loved ones hosted the best birthday any 2-year-old could ever ask for! This "Old MacDonald's Farm" themed barnyard bash was by far the most impressive birthday we have ever seen. We were so honored to celebrate with Niam's family and loved ones, and to capture these memories on video!

This party was originally planned to be a first birthday celebration in May of 2020. However, like most 2020 events, plans were delayed and slightly changed. Niam's parent's, Anita and Ramiro, decided t0 wait a year to celebrate Niam's birthday bash, and moved it from downtown Pittsburgh to Anita's parents' house in Murrysville, PA.

We loved the idea of a kids table!

Niam's party was made complete with balloon arches, decadent signage, beautiful sweets, a petting zoo, horse rides, live music, face painting, balloon animals, and more! The video below highlights some of these, including music from the party by the very talented Scott and Rosanna.

Anita, Ramiro, and the planners at Reverie Events executed this birthday party perfectly. Everywhere you looked both children and adults were not only in awe, but constantly smiling, laughing, and enjoying themselves.

This backyard was the perfect size for all of the kid-friendly activities, including feeding the farm animals and riding the ponies!

We loved this party and all the activities and details that made it complete. Something else we thought that made it very special was Anita's request for us to record "Happy Birthday" video messages for Niam. Like most 2-year olds, Anita and Ramiro knew Niam might not remember this special day, but they wanted Niam to remember all the people and love that surrounded him.
