Dan + Alyssa Engagement | Downtown Cleveland and Cleveland Museum of Art
Last Wednesday, Catherine and I met up with Dan and Alyssa in Cleveland, Ohio! We met them at Penn State, and even worked with Dan to cover his proposal this past fall! We were SO honored when they asked us to cover their engagement session and 2020 wedding. These two are so enjoyable to be around and are SO photogenic together!
After graduation, both Dan and Alyssa took jobs in Cleveland, Ohio, where they have been living for the past 2 years. They wanted to do their engagement session in the city they've called home, and before they make a move to Philadelphia in a few weeks. We love when couples pick places they love for their session! It makes it so personal and so comfortable! So, they chose to start their session at their favorite local spot, Nano Brew, a cute brewery with some AMAZING staff!
Shoutout to the wonderful staff at Nano Brew, especially Cameron and Theresa who let us take pictures inside, at the bar, and on the high tops!
Why not start out an engagement session with a brew to shake the nerves?!

I looked at these pictures a lot while editing, and I swear Alyssa looks like Blake Lively! I can't be the only one that sees it!
After a quick outfit change, we headed to Wade Lagoon and The Cleveland Art Museum!
This white marble was the best natural reflector! When Alyssa sent me pictures of this location, I got SO excited. She must have known it would be perfect for an overcast day!
We love when our couples are all about a good lift! Check out that lift in between the columns!
We love to make our clients look great in front of the camera, but these laughs and smiles were genuine, 100% Alyssa + Dan! I hope when they look back on these photos 10-years from now they are still exude love like this!
Just at the end of the session when you should be done... but your couple just can't stop KILLING it!
When you spend the car ride home talking about how excited you are for the wedding, you know you work with the best couples! Thank you to Alyssa and Dan for showing us around Cleveland, laughing with us, and making taking beautiful, genuine photos so effortless! We love you two!!
