Happy Birthday, Mason!

Since SMF began, the Novack family has been one of our favorite SMF Families! We have been so grateful that they have let us cover their family events. As close family friends, it has been so wonderful seeing this family grow, and now, seeing our best childhood friends, raise children of their own! When they asked Catherine and me to do photo and video for Mason's birthday, we enthusiastically agreed to make the trip to Tom and Meghan's New Jersey home!

As the first grandchild of both families, and one who has no shortage of joy, Mason's first birthday was a big and exciting one to celebrate! After stepping into Tom and Meghan's beautiful home, we were blown away by the amazing birthday party decorations!

This "Wild One" themed party was based off of one of Mason's favorite books, "Where the Wild Things Are". The party was made complete with a balloon arch, a trifold of Mason's first year, crown-shaped chocolate chip cookies, crown party hats, a photo backdrop, Happy Birthday banners, a book for all to sign, framed quotes, and they even had a teepee set up on the corner of the room! It must be a family thing, because every Novack party I have ever attended has had the best decorations! Shoutout to Meghan, Tom and your families! You nailed Mason's "Wild One" birthday, and we LOVED having the opportunity to celebrate with you all!! This was Mason's first go at sweets! I think it's safe to say, he's a big fan of Funfetti Cake!!

We loved celebrating with these two families and seeing them mesh so well! I was so happy that they asked us to make a birthday video!! This party and this sweet letter from Meghan and Tom will be something Mason will be able to cherish forever.
