Rebecca's Senior Session

Growing up, I was involved in a variety of activities, one of them was dance (Mom made me, and I told people I had "soccer"). The girls were fine, but I wasn't like any of them. Luckily, my sister, Catherine and best friend, Maddie were in class with me, making it almost bearable.

One year, there was another girl in my class that I thought looked JUST like me! I remember seeing her, in the corner of the studio, staring at herself in the mirror. Meanwhile, I was yelling in my head, "HOLY CRAP! WE COULD BE TWINS!" That was the first time I met Rebecca!

We continued taking tap together, began youth group together, hung out with the same crowd in high school, stopped going to youth group together, went to Penn State, tried a Wednesday night youth group, and later decided to use that time for Wednesday night dinners instead. Although she is a year younger than me, she continues to be one of my best friends, and last Friday, I had the PLEASURE of taking her senior pictures! Although she doesn't look like me, I'm SO thankful that my 3rd grade-self thought we could be related, because now she's like a sister to me. She is a wonderful friend with a huge heart and a contagious laugh (usually caused by her own jokes). Thanks for being a wonderful human, Shbeck, and congratulations on graduation!!

Thanks for letting us spend our Friday morning with you! We loved every second and can't wait for your graduation! Good luck in graduate school at Pitt! Always so proud of you!

Congratulations Rebecca and the Class of 2018!

Can't wait to visit you in the Burgh!

Love,

Samantha
